- This course also provides the background needed for individuals applying to the American Biological Safety Association for designation as Registered Biological Safety Professional or are planning to take the National Registry of Microbiologists, Specialist Microbiologist in Biological Safety examination in October to qualify as a Certified Biological Safety Professional.
- The course is designed to provide in-depth information to participants with or without prior biosafety experience.
- The Control of Biohazards Course will also appeal to people who are already certified SM(NRCM)s or CBSPs and want to renew their certification.
